So here I am… I have posted about this before but the link sent has a real nice article on Todd Lyons and S.E bikes so get on over to Highsnobiety and read up!
I used to ride trails, sure I did but in the mid to late nineties trails were never this good!

Seen over at the blog of Taj Mihelich.
The actual future of BMX.

Unlike other 6.0 shoes this, the Drifter appears much more slimline and simple looking.
The 6.0 series is aimed at and intended for BMX so I am guessing that Nike have realised that the skinny jeans wearing ‘extreme’ types don’t get on too well with the ‘typical’ offerings like perhaps the Mogan and have opted for something a little more forgiving on the foot and on the eye.
Well done Nike, these are nice.

I don’t know a great deal about this frame other than what I have seen flying around the interglobe. However I do know it is made by none other than the Federal Bike Company, purveyors of some damn fine BMX products.
Not entirely sure if this will come to the UK as the Sword frameset has been out since 2007 and I never seen one or heard of anyone owning one but I hope they do because they look good… that paint looks cool too.

Spotted this on the Tokyo Fixed Gear blogspace.
Perhaps I should keep quiet until seeing the whole thing but the following baffles me…
Why have the bikes in this clip either got BMX handlebars, or a stem so high out of the steerer tube that when sitting the riders arms are nearly horizontal? Dudes need to grip a BMX.

Something funny is going on on the streets of New York.
Built neither for speed nor handling, these ‘bikes’ are built purely for sound. Strapped onto an assortment of metal tubes that mildly resemble a BMX are huge soundsystems… Amplifiers, car batteries, CD interchangers, everything. Forget the Panasonic track frame pal, I want one of these!

For a better part of this year, Brad from bike crafter Nemesis Project has been hard at work with the folks over at Disney BLOC 28 in creating a special unit, largely based on the Disney’s first star – Mickey Mouse. Along with the visual details, the Nemesis Project x Disney BLOC 28 – BMX Cruiser also incudes some of the best components on the market:
- NOS Gum Wall 24″ Tioga Comp III (3)

- Macneil BMX Conjoined Cranks (custom made & powder coated)
- KAPPA SUMO Bars
- DUO Grips,

I had a polished aluminium Ripper circa 98 and I loved it, I remember people, like pro bmxers and sh*t giving me props for owning one at the time… lucky for me I had a friend who rode for SE… Big.
