Sure, it’s pretty nice and there is no doubt that kids everywhere want one of these 2011 Cinelli x Mash track framesets, but considering the amount of geared road and cross riding the Mash fellas’ do these days isn’t it about time that Cinelli introduced a Mash road frameset?

Not one to spoil classic looks, Jon, my good pal recently gripped these NOS Eddy Merckx Adidas “creps” ( street slang for shoes ) off Ebay for use on his Colnago Super.
Properly nice, but on my steel bikes I am still representing with the vulcanized sole, full flex and all. You know? I really should look for a solution to that.

Still undecided as to what colour to do my Olmo in. Yesterday’s post on Black bikes was food for thought, as were the metallic beauties seen in the original Olmo scans.
New idea. Chris, a long time cycling gentleman from my local store has a few cycles in the ‘colourway’ ( can you call it that? ) seen above. Bare metal. I think it looks awesome and no doubt very easy to acheive with a mere strip of the paint and a clear coat. Although you don’t get the high gloss finish of paint or powder you need never worry about chipped paint again, simply because there is none!
The tussle continues.

On a bike with swept back handlebars and amber wall tyres one of these would look great. Plus you can flip it and wear it around your person with the additional strap. Perfect!

A friend of mine alerted me to these cripsy shots of a day cycling in the sun. What I love most about them is the fact that you can actually feel the heat despite the absolute lack of colour.
Kevin Kafesu, my 20 year old work colleague is the man responsible for these and I must say that he has definitely got an eye for a good shot. More to the point since he copped his Bianchi pista a few months back via our work’s cycle incentive scheme he has been on his ride almost daily and although I am not condoning him for it he has taken to brakeless fixed riding like a duck to water.

A Classic Chanel quilted bag with a bike hanging off the back of it… No seriously this really is a Chanel Bicycle and at £6200 it is not cheap, especially being as your mrs/mom/sister/gran wont ride it, they will merely grip the bag off of it and discard the metal tubey bits… Or have it jacked.

I had a polished aluminium Ripper circa 98 and I loved it, I remember people, like pro bmxers and sh*t giving me props for owning one at the time… lucky for me I had a friend who rode for SE… Big.
