Brilliant. 100% gunning for Team leopard. Bring on the Tour!

Thanks to all that placed orders for the ‘Very Well’ T over the weekend. Once again I’m very happy to say that they sold out… apart from one XL, who wants it!?
All web orders have now been shipped and buyers should receive Wednesday at the latest.
Thanks again and hold tight for Spinwell Projects No.4… coming very soon!
Due to the popularity of these Ts last year I decided to re-up for those who missed out, but only this one time. Once these are gone, they really are gone!
Red ink on 100% cotton all white Gildan shirts.
Limited to 25 pieces.
Le Coq Sportif recently announced that they will in 2012 become the official supplier and sponsor of the Tour de France. Le Coq have a solid 40 year history with cycling and Le Tour so it is very much like a long lost brother returning home to his family.
It’ll be great to see the Coq adorning the maillot jaune again and I might also add at this point that the jerseys will be manufactured in, well, in France of course!
More info as it comes.
Spinwell Projects are now available to buy in Australia, Victoria to be precise, at Endless Pedal, a fantastic high-end cycle store / gallery space.
While on the subject of galleries I’d also like to make a mention of Endless’ latest exhibition featuring none other than Tim Kolln showing his ‘Peloton’ series. So if you are near Victoria make sure you go check it out this Thursday 16th and pick up a t-shirt while you are there too.
Not sure if I have posted this previously but what the hell, J of Hoops cycles reminded me of it. Thanks J! This film looks absolutely shit but I’d still like to have a gander.
There was some great stuff on show, Ricky Feather’s track frame was stunning, as was Donhou’s road bike built for Tim of the Daily cycle and let’s not talk about the Dura Ace equipped Brother track bike. Feather and Donhou were also awarded prizes for best Best track frame and best Utility bike respectively, as voted for by the exhibitors.
All in all a top day with some amazing things to see and also plenty of ideas if you were thinking about a build, which is pretty much me the whole time but sans cash.
Bristol Bespoked are already calling for exhibitors for 2012 so start pestering your local builder now, so we can see next year’s show being twice as big!
More pics of the day here at my flickrspot.
One word. Handlebars.
Want to see more? Go here, but be warned… you may not like what you see.
Two stunning photographs of the Passo Pordoi.
The portrait shot is surreal, the mountains actually look like they have been painted in. Amazing.
Odin gave me a great mood board for his project and we worked closely on the paint firing plenty of drawings back and forth ’till we got it just right. Swan white with jet black interior panels. Big hi-5 as we’re both really stoked on it.
Built using oversized Reynolds 631 into a semi compact design and using a carbon fork to keep the weight down, this will be a fun little everyday bike.
Looking forward to meeting the man behind these frames tomorrow at the Bristol’s Bespoked… The countdown has begun!
Spotted these over at my friends blogspace – Arewu. But while he talks of Oakley’s semi-involvement in hip-hop’s ‘golden era’ I’m more concerned about the sheer ‘badman’ factor of these stunning eyeglasses. Just like red coloured bikes, I’m sure donning a pair of these would make you go faster, probably a bit like like Hoy on a good day with the wind at his back.
Limited to only 35 pairs and proudly made in the U.S.A. Grab a pair while you can.
Oakley Eyeshades available at Oki-ni.
This is the real shit. Pure fluid motion on two wheels.
This guy added me as a contact on Flickr this morning and as soon as I spotted those gloves I had to take a peek. Dude has three NOS DX aero posts… nuff said.
Man, this kit is so hard. You really can’t beat the mono look when it comes to jerseys and shorts and Cadence have got it totally right with these.
From humble beginnings to this amazing collection, Cadence are doing things right.
Just grabbed my tickets and it’s fair to say I’m really looking forward to it.
I’m pretty much going to spending all of Saturday ogling fancy bikes, but aside from that I hope to meet a lot of the people I have emailed and spoken to through here, it’ll be great to put a few faces to some names.
See you saturday!
