I have an Andre Sabliere frameset in off- white with red ‘Alsys’ decals . All I can find out is that a cycle shop (Sabliere UK) in the UK were the sole importer of Sabliere frames and my frame was apparently used by the UK ‘Alsys-Bradgate’ cycle team back in the 90′s .
My frame was apparently originally used by a current elite road pro David Clarke who recently won a stage of the UK National road series.
I would love to find out more about Andre Sabliere and his frames especially mine .If anyone can supply any information I would be extremly grateful. Happy to provide a picture of mine.

Hi Nick, I also have a super cool Sabliere frame. mine is raw polished aluminum and looks like liquid silver

The frame in the photos is a 1983/84 Sabliere one, built from Pechiney aluminium alloy tubing using the process of argon-arc welding. It isn’t bronze-welded steel and it isn’t chrome-plated

I have an old steel (vitus) Sabliere. There were 3 imported to the U.S. back in the seventys, I believe it was about 1974.Curry Distributors International imported it to Dallas Texas.There was a red one an orange one and my black one. Mine has a number 14 punched in the bottom of the bottom bracket. I have always wondered if it was the 14th frame built by Andre. It was black, but the paint is stripped off now. I read an article…actually a friend of mine translated an article from french to english and it talked about the genius, master framebuilder Andre Sabliere and how Moser set his hour record on a sabliere. I have ridden the bike thousands of miles, including one 3600 mile tour in the american southwest. It is a magical bike! I love it. Nial

Andre, Bonjour j’ai un vieux d’acier (vitus) Sabliere. Il y avait trois cadres import’es a’ l’ame’ricaine dans les anne’es 1970. Mon ami Curry de Dan (qui posse’dait International de distributeurs de Curry, a’ Dallas au Texas) fut lors d’un show de la bicyclette en France, je crois que Paris. Il ache’te trois cadres, un rouge, un orange et un noir. J’ai achete’ I’un noir. Il posse’de un nombre 14 estampille’s dans le pe’dalier. Le tube de direction est brise’. Et je ne font pas confiance toute personne d’avoir l’expertise du constructeur cadre original, e’tant de vous. Vous avez toute suggestion ou vous serait dispose’ a corriger vous-meme ou de remplacer la fourche avec un remplacement identique, Je paierait volontiers pour vos services. Je suis curieux si cela pourrait etre le cadre quatorzie’me que vous construit? Tre’s heureux de parler avec vous. Je vous remercie, Nial Connolly

Je suis Anglais,..jais lit un article dans la presse anglais pour tenir cette sell de velo.
